FORMER Haverfordwest RFC and Scarlets prop Holly Mayhew has hung up her boots for the stage, as she appears as Rapunzel in the Torch Theatre’s upcoming festive twisty tangled pantomime.

“Rapunzel’s not your usual princess, she has a mind of her own, she’s bouncy and bubbly and is definitely not the traditional princess that we are familiar with,” says Holly, who reckons she’s quite similar to Rapunzel herself.

“Rapunzel will include a lot of fun songs, lots of falling over and slips, silliness and of course audience participation. We want audience members to be as loud as possible when we ask them to boo and hiss!”

Holly recently graduated from Drama Studio London, having started her journey at the Torch Youth Theatre.
