Grace Escape Festival unites Pembrokeshire churches this August

THIS August, The Grace Escape festival is bringing together churches, ministries and Christian organisations from across Pembrokeshire and West Wales in a remarkable expression of unity.

Last year was just the beginning… the beginning of a great stirring and launch of a great adventure.

This year, between July 30 and August 3, worship leaders, speakers, prayer teams and volunteers from many different churches are setting aside denominational differences to gather at Middleton Farm, Llanteg for a whole weekend around one purpose: “to encourage one another, pray together and lift high the name of Jesus Christ.”

With five speakers, five worship groups, eight workshops and ministry from over 10 different churches across seven event spaces, This camping weekend sets out to offer Christians a unique opportunity to connect, refill and grow.

For children, there are four streams for all ages, and a praise party is planned.

Meanwhile for adults, there is a late night worship rave on the Friday night!

The theme of the weekend is ‘Hearing from heaven’, so expect times of quiet too: healing and prayer ministry, hospitality and fellowship.

Grace Church West Wales Director Rosie Prosser said:

“While Grace Escape is a festival, it also plays a part in something much bigger. Across West Wales there is a growing spirit of partnership and prayer. Recent events such as Picnic, Prayer & Praise at Pembroke Castle, the Korean Prayer Mission, and OneAccord all point to churches choosing collaboration over isolation and seeking the good of our communities together.

“We believe this is an inspiring story of hope for Pembrokeshire at a time when unity can often seem in short supply.”
