Northern Soul is coming to the seaside town of Tenby - as part of a free event.
On Saturday, August 9 the Ex Servicemen's Club ('Dogs Home') in Tenby will resonate to the resurgent sounds of Northern Soul and Tamla Motown. The event runs from 7pm to midnight and entry is free to come along and enjoy the music.
Tenby Ex Servicemen's Club is located opposite the historic Five Arches along the South Parade and is an ideal venue with a good sized dance floor.
Fitting with the current vinyl revival all the tunes are played from the original vinyl records giving that authentic sound.

Northern Soul is currently enjoying it's biggest revival since the seventies including a Northern Soul Prom. Over one hundred events taking place every weekend, particularly in cities such as Bristol, Bath, Manchester and London where young people have also embraced the genre.
Regular Northern Soul nights have been held at Saundersfoot’s Merlewood Hotel in recent years, which have proved so popular that there is even a Saundersfoot Soul Club that formed.
Head along to Tenby this summer, and enjoy tunes including the original 'Tainted Love', 'Sweet Soul Music,' Heaven Must Have Sent You', 'I Can't Help Myself' and 'This Old Heart Of Mine' all for free!
