The Easter Chick Challenge, between Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, April 14, offers a yummy prize available to those who find the Easter chicks hidden around Carew Castle.

Carew’s ever-popular Horrid Histories sessions are back, featuring gory stories, terrible tales and revolting reports about Castle life. Included free with admission, these fun, interactive talks for the younger generation will take place at 11am on weekdays between March 25 and April 5. Children must be accompanied.

The Launch of the Giant Trebuchet at Carew Castle will take place at 2.30pm on Tuesday, April 2. Watch as the power of this ingenious weapon of siege is unleashed and learn how huge stones were flung with enough force to breach even the strongest of fortifications.

For a spellbinding Easter event, join The School of Wizards and Witches Magic Academy at 1pm on 3, 4 and 5 April. Perfect for thrill-seekers aged 6 to adult, in the magical setting of the Lesser Hall. Please note that the venue does not have wheelchair access. Booking is highly recommended.
