Filming for the new series of Doctor Who continued today (Wednesday) with the Timelord’s new assistant taking centre stage. 

Actor Mille Gibson (formerly of Coronation Street) who will play companion Ruby Sunday to the Doctor was spotted on the Pembrokeshire coast path, where scenes for the cult BBC series have been shot this week, between Penally and Lydstep.

The next full series featuring Ncuti Gatwa as the fifteenth Timelord will be screened in 2024 and star

The iconic Tardis was spotted on Monday with scenes being filmed on the clifftop at Proud Giltar. The film crew have been based in Tenby during the week.

Filming began in December and directing the first block of the series will be another newcomer Dylan Holmes Williams, whose short film The Devil's Harmony won the jury prize at Sundance 2020.

Many familiar faces will be involved with the series as it moves into the future. As well as Russell T Davies acting as showrunner,  Julie Gardner, Phil Collinson and Jane Tranter will all act as executive producers.
