Scolton Manor, near Haverfordwest, is the venue once again for Pembrokeshire Classic Car Club's very popular Annual Show, which takes place this Sunday, June 4.

As well as the highly polished and gleaming classic cars, there will also be an array of motorcycles, commercial vehicles, tractors and static engines for the visitors to view in the manor's splendid grounds.

This is a great day out for all the family, with auto jumble, numerous craft stalls, car boot sales as well as cake stalls, freshly baked Welsh cakes, hot and cold beverages served all day, and entertainment for the children with bouncy castle, fun-fair and quad bike rides.

Obviously the main attraction will be the classic cars, when there should be around 300 vehicles on display, the pride and joy of their owners who would be only too pleased to have a 'natter' with any of the visitors who have an interest in the cars.

Many hours of dedicated work goes into the renovation, maintenance and upkeep of these vehicles, besides the cost involved to keep them in the condition you will see at the show.

This year, the club has been selling raffle tickets and the raffle draw will take place after the show's prize-giving.

Chairman, Mr. Mark Griffiths, would like to thank everyone who has bought a ticket, with all profits being donated to the club's chosen charity for the year, which is The Chemotherapy Unit at Withybush Hospital. it is hoped to raise well over £1,000, which will be presented at one of the club's monthly meetings.

So, Sunday, this weekend, go along to the show at Scolton Mano. The gates open for visitors at 12 noon, and you'll be going home saying, "I wish I'd kept that car," "that was the first car I had," "where can I find a car like that."
