Monday, November 12, was another day for the Saundersfoot village history books - the day which was 'D' for Demolition Day at the Regency Hall.

Jehu Project Services, who replaced Andrew Scott Ltd. as main contractors for the project, began the demolition in earnest, after weeks of preliminary site work.

The actual 'raising to the ground' of the old hall should take just over a week, after which the site will be prepared and ready for the foundation and piling work to commence early December.

Although there have been a few 'teething' problems during the last couple of months, since the much-loved hall closed down, the building work is now on target to go full-steam ahead, with an estimated completion date of mid-summer 2013

FOOTNOTE: For those residents of Saundersfoot wishing to enter the logo competition, the closing date of November 30 is rapidly approaching, with the winner to be announced at the New Year's Day Swim.
