There will be an emergency road closure for one of the main routes into the Walled Town of Tenby overnight from this evening (June 13).

Dwr Cymru/Welsh Water will be carrying out works along The Norton – from its junction with White Lion Street, north to its junction with The Croft, from 7 pm onwards.

An emergency water mains repair is required within the vicinity of 5 The Norton

The alternative route for vehicles will be - White Lion Street, Greenhill Road, The Green, Broadwell Hayes/Maudlins, Narberth Road, The Norton.

Pembrokeshire County Council, who has authorised the works, have stated that it is hoped the works will be completed by the morning.

Pedestrian access will be maintained for the duration of the closure
