IT looks as though the charismatic Billy J. McGregor and his amazing 10-piece band are likely to succeed in yet another sell-out show when they pay tribute to the artist of the century, Elvis Presley, at the Torch Theatre, Milford Haven, tonight (Friday).
The promise of over two hours of The King of Rock and Roll's best-known recordings being performed live on stage during a breathtaking rollercoaster ride of the '50s, 60s and 70s appears to be just what the doctor ordered for Elvis fans in Pembrokeshire.
Along with some of the finest musicians and vocalists in the business, Billy J. - himself a lifelong fan of the King - pour heart and soul into their show.
Said Billy: "With The Elvis Collection we take the legend of The King back to what really counts - the music. Elvis was such a charismatic guy, but too many Presley tribute shows rely on jokey impersonations that completely miss the point."
Currently touring throughout the UK, this spectacular tribute show has die-hard Elvis fans visiting again and again to enjoy the band's re-creation of The King's greatest hits which spanned his 23-year recording career.
