What a great way to spend an afternoon in the Easter holidays!
Six-year-old Elly Neville and her Pembrokeshire flag met up with Jerome Flynn, star of Game of Thrones and Ripper Street, who was very happy to give his support to Elly’s Withybush Hospital Ward 10 Appeal by having some photos and a sword-fight with Elly!
Jerome said: “Elly has done a fantastic job raising so much money for cancer patients in Pembrokeshire and is inspirational.”
It was very obvious talking to Jerome that he loves Pembrokeshire and its people.
“Elly was quite quiet when we were with Jerome but was very loud leaving shouting thanks and goodbye!” said Elly’s dad Lyn who was treated at the ward after undergoing a bone marrow transplant in 2005.
“Elly’s big brother Rhys came along as he is a huge Game of Thrones fan! We thank Jerome for giving up his time to show his support for Elly’s Flag which has now raised over £82,000 for cancer patient experience and environment on Ward 10 at Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest.”
