Naomi Nicholas, of Maenclochog, was a guest at a reception hosted by the Chairman of Pembrokeshire County Council in County Hall, Haverfordwest, on Thursday evening.

Clr. Paul Harries was officially recognising Naomi’s achievement of winning the crown for the prose competition at the all-Wales YFC Eisteddfod in Llandudno in November.

Representing Llysyfran YFC, Naomi is training to be a Welsh primary school teacher after graduating in Welsh and Drama at Aberystwyth University.
