Manorbier United AFC had to travel to Haverfordwest on Saturday to play bottom of the league side Haverfordwest County.
The game started with a slight scare for United when a Haverfordwest shot hit the post and then hit the back of goalkeeper Mike Brown, which was a bit of a let off for the away side.
The game then settled down, with United enjoying a great deal of possession.
Haverfordwest were awarded a penalty when Chris Thompson tripped a player and the spot kick was duly slotted past Brown to go a goal up.
Manorbier hit back within two minutes when a corner from Austyn John was met by the head of Thompson to draw them back level.
A few minutes later, Haverfordwest regained the lead when a header lobbed the sorry 'keeper.
Manorbier started to play some lovely football and were rewarded with a well-deserved goal when Phil Christopher hit a sweet shot into the top corner.
Haverfordwest had one of their players dismissed following a nasty tackle on Thompson.
The second half started well for Manorbier as they were knocking the ball around well, with Robbie Vincent and Robbie Izzard playing some great balls to Ben Hall.
The referee seemed to pick up an injury when he fell, but Manorbier substitutes James Hall and Mike Ryder kindly gave him first-aid.
Haverfordwest's super-sub came on and put his side back in the lead with his first touch.
This spurred Manorbier on and when they were awarded a penalty for handball, Thompson stepped up and equalised with his second goal of the game.
Nothing could stop Manorbier now. They were playing some of their best football of the season and Thompson scored his third goal when, perhaps with Ronaldinho in mind, he crossed the ball aiming for Christopher, only for it to go straight in.
Christopher surely sealed the win when a poor corner was floated in and he was the only player who went for the ball and headed Manorbier 5-3 up.
Manorbier could have added a few more as Ryder and Maytum both missed chances. Mike Brown also made a great penalty save late on in the game.
Manorbier fielded: Brown, Hitchins, Mcweeny, Craig, Thompson, Vincent, John, B. Hall, Izzard, Maytum, Christopher, J. Hall, Ryder and George.
