Eight people were evacuated from a property following a fire in Tenby on Tuesday morning.

Two fire appliances from the town responded to a call at 7.40 am reporting a fire at the rear of a restaurant and adjoining apartment building in Tudor Square.

Firefighters assisted eight people to leave the building and extinguished the fire using two hose reel jets, breathing apparatus and thermal imaging cameras. No injuries were reported.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is being carried out.
