Pembrokeshire preschool music group Tickle Tunes is celebrating half a decade of supporting children’s development and family wellbeing with a special grand prize draw.
Founded by highly respected early years practitioner ‘Singing’ Sue and Angharad, now a newly qualified HCPC-registered music therapist, Tickle Tunes has become a much-loved part of family life across the county.
Tickle Tunes classes combine singing, movement, puppetry, and musical instrument play, with a strong focus on supporting developmental milestones, confidence, socialisation and motor skills. Caregivers are also encouraged in their use of voice to bond with their children, enhance their own wellbeing, and connect with other families.
“I keep pinching myself to think that we are five years old,” said Sue! “Coming out of Covid, the joy Tickle Tunes brought to so many families; seeing little ones socialise for the first time, and sing and smile, is something that I will never forget.”

“Tickle Tunes has always been a labour of love,” said Angharad. “Family bonding, developmental support, and fun are at the heart of everything we do. We’re passionate about keeping our music live and ensuring that every session is both playful and purposeful.”
Tickle Tunes mum Laura added: “The classes seem to attract such lovely people. It’s a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and will always be the first baby class I recommend to anyone.”
Families who’ve taken part in Tickle Tunes, or who would like to join in September, are being invited to share testimonials and/or short videos about the impact music has had in their lives. All entrants will be entered into a draw, with prizes including: a two-children day pass to Manor Wildlife Park, a day pass to Folly Farm, a day pass to Pembroke Castle, two tickets to Voices at the Castle and a £50 Amazon voucher.
