Golden Grove School in Pembroke recently held a cake sale and raised £350 the proceeds of which were share with Paul Sartori Hospice at Home and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Pictured receiving their respective cheques from Sion Jenkins, of the school, are Toni Dorkings, community fundraiser on behalf of Paul Sartori, and Dennis Evans on behalf of Macmillan.
Toni said: “We are always very grateful at Paul Sartori for the amazing support we have and especially to the children, staff and parents at Golden Grove.”
The charity is passionate about the services they deliver and they continue to be available 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The support provided by the Paul Sartori Hospice at Home Service enable people in the later stages of any life limiting illness to be cared for at home with dignity, independence, pain free and surrounded by those they hold most dear. The range of services it now provides includes home nursing care, equipment loan, complementary therapy, bereavement and counselling support, clinical nurse specialist in palliative care, physiotherapy, advance care planning and training.
