Following today’s A-Level and BTEC results, Plaid Cymru’s Senedd Member for Mid and West Wales, and education spokesperson, Cefin Campbell has congratulated students.

Mr Campbell spoke of a Plaid Cymru Government’s ambition for young people, along with their priority to give every child and young person the best possible start in life.

“On behalf of Plaid Cymru, I would like to congratulate all those students receiving their A-level and BTEC results today. The success seen across Wales is a testament to the hard work of students and their teachers,” he said.

"This time of year reminds us of the incredible potential of our young people here in Wales, and Plaid Cymru has real ambition for them. In 2026, the people of Wales will have an opportunity to elect a Plaid Cymru Government that will make giving every child an young person the best possible start in life an absolute priority.

"Whether the next step for those receiving their results today is university, an apprenticeship, or entering the world of work, I wish them the very best of luck, and promise them that Plaid Cymru will always have their back."
