A Year 11 pupil at Pembroke School brought a BB gun – an airgun firing lightweight pellets - into school earlier today (Tuesday, March 21) and fired a pellet across the PE changing room, Pembrokeshire County Council has confirmed.
“It struck another pupil in the face causing what appeared to be superficial injuries,” said a statement issued by the local authority.
“Staff at the school called the police and co-operated in tracking down the offender and recovering the weapon,” the statement continued.
“The injured pupil was taken to hospital for examination.”
