In the first year of Sixth Form at Redhill High School in Clynderwen, Year 12 students are celebrating an exceptional set of results in their AS exams this year.
Overall, 97 per cent of all grades awarded were A grades, and 100 per cent A-B.
Amongst the students being congratulated are Lucas Geertman of Tenby, who had 5 A grades in AS Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Music; along with Saundersfoot student Iwan Davies who gained 5 A grades in AS Maths, Further Maths Biology, Chemistry and Spanish.
Both students have been with ths school from the start, which opened in 2018.
Headmaster Alun Millington was full of praise for the group, commenting: “This year has obviously been a challenging one for all concerned, but the extraordinary efforts of our students and the support of our staff has led to these amazing outcomes.”
“The attitude and positivity of the group and their Head of Sixth Form, Ms Meg Hollinger, has been an inspiration to all.
