Area sports infants: What a great day at the infants area sports held at Saundersfoot. The team returned victorious, winning the Small Schools Shield. Llongyfarchiadau mawr i chi. Diolch yn fawr i Saunderfoot. Huge thanks to Saundersfoot for hosting.
Area sports juniors: Congratulations to our junior area sports team who came second in the competition recently held at Greenhill School.
Best class attendance: Da iawn i ddosbarth y Cregyn. Well done Dosbarth y Cregyn for their excellent attendance record this year. They received a pencil case, sponsored by Pembroke Power Station, for their efforts.
Carmarthen Stars: Congratulations to William, Osian and Madoc who travelled to Carmarthen to take part in the Carmarthen Starts Football Tournament - and won!
Cychod Coch: Sir Alan Sugar eat your heart out! Year 5 and 6 showed their fabulous entrepreneurship skills at the summer fayre. The winning team sold candy floss and slushies, turning a £10 loan into more than £80 profit!
Cycling proficiency: Year 5 have been busy learning to ride their bikes safely with Mr. D. Perry. They have been out and about in Tenby and had a great time. They were awarded with their certificates. Keep a look for them over the summer!
Evan: Congratulations to Evan who has passed his grade one exam on rock and pop drums. Llongyfarchiadau mawr Evan.
Fairtrade Football: Years 5 and 6 travelled to Tavernspite to take part in the Fairtrade Football tournament. They were representing Honduras.
Foundation Day sports: Congratulations to Ollie for gaining the most points for Foundation Phase boys on sports day. Congratulations to Jess for gaining the most points for Foundation Phase girls on sports day.
Girls cricket: The girls cricket team had a very early start on their journey to Cardiff to represent Pembrokeshire at the South Wales Girls Kwik Cricket competition. Their day got longer as they won their games eventually losing out at the semi-final stage. Huge thanks to Pembrokeshire Sport for organising.
Girls Urdd Football: The girls football team had a very successful tournament at The Clicketts in the Urdd football tournament. They ended the day on a high, coming third overall. Da iawn chi ferched!
Guinness Pro 12: The Guinness Pro 12 Cup made an appearance at the school after the Scarlets had a fabulous victory at the Aviva Stadium against Munster. Diolch yn fawr i Mr Stock am ddod ag e i’r ysgol. Wishing the Scarlets a fabulous new season - who knows, we may even go up and watch a match!
KS2 sports: Congratulations to Dafydd for gaining the most points for KS2 boys on sports day. Congratulations to Seren for gaining the most points for KS2 girls on sports day.
Orchestra: The school orchestra performed recently for pupils, family and friends. There was a great range of instruments with a performance from three pupils who have just started learning to play the double basses.
Tag rugby: Year 5 and 6 headed down to Broad Haven South to take part in a tag rugby session held by the WRU. Everyone had a fantastic down in the most incredible location.
Tenby in Bloom: Congratulations to winners of the Tenby in Bloom poster competition. Llongyfarchiadau i chi gyd.
Theo: Theo brought his football medal and manager’s player of the year award to show the children. Theo is a very enthusiastic player for Lawrenny Under 7s. Llongfarchiadau Theo!
