The governors of St. Teilo’s Catholic Primary School are pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Angela Nicholls as their new head from September.

Angela joined St. Teilo’s as a class teacher in 1980 and apart from a short break, when she had her daughter, she has been a long serving member of staff.

“I am delighted to have been appointed as the next head of St. Teilo’s Catholic School. The school prides itself on being a small, friendly, community environment, where pupils are treated as individuals and are encouraged to reach their full potential.

“I am looking forward to supporting and challenging all our pupils so they flourish in a culture of success which sets them in the right direction for life.

“The school works very closely with St. Teilo’s Catholic Church and offers excellent opportunities for children to grow academically, personally and in their faith.

“I am very fortunate to be surrounded by hardworking and dedicated staff, enthusiastic pupils and with the fantastic support from our parents and Friends of St. Teilo’s the school will continue to thrive in the community.”

Angela is also well-known in footballing circles. She has been a member of Tenby AFC for 35 years and for 10 years was Under 12s coach at Haverfordwest Football Academy. She is also heavily involved in the Pembrokeshire Schools’ Football Association.

St. Teilo’s Catholic School is open to all members of the community and any prospective parents can get in touch with Angela at the school.
