THE Sheriff and Mayor of Haverfordwest, Councillors Dani Thomas-Turner and Randell Thomas-Turner were delighted to be invited to visit Waldo Williams Primary School and meet the children on October 9.

They talked to the children about their civic roles, what they do at Haverfordwest Town Council and how they serve the community.

“It was brilliant to see how engaged they were and to hear their questions, said the mayor.

“Some were so unique and thoughtful that I’ve honestly never heard children ask anything quite like them before! They certainly kept us on our toes!

“Their curiosity and enthusiasm were wonderful to see. A huge thank you to Waldo Williams School for the warm invitation!”
