To celebrate ‘National Libraries Week’, the library service has invited Mary Powles to talk about her writing at 2 pm tomorrow (Saturday)?at Tenby library.

Mary is looking forward to meeting those attending and will be answering questions at the end of her talk.

Her novels, The Accidental Stalker and Moving Times, will be available for sale. All are welcome to this free event.

To mark this year’s ‘Libraries Week’ a combined coffee morning and book sale, and a beginner’s class on social mediawil also take place at Tenby Library.

On Thursday there is another Grand Book Sale and Coffee Morning from 10 am to 12 noon, just because our members love book sales and coffee mornings.

Lastly, on Saturday (October 13) Digital Volunteer Simon Rhys-Philips is holding a class for those who have never Facebooked, Twitted or Instagrammed but think maybe they would like to. ‘Social Media – Is it for Me?’ is an informal class where various forms of social media will be explained with both the pros and cons of use.

The event is aimed at complete beginners, absolutely no previous knowledge is required. It is from 10 to 11.30 am, although there will be a break for refreshments.
