Students at Tenby’s Greenhill School have been celebrating A-Level exam successes.
Following release of the results yesterday (Thursday), headteacher, Mrs. Jan Kingston, said: “We are very pleased at this year’s A-Level results which again show an upward trend.
“This was our largest cohort entry for a number of years and the number of passes with 79 per cent of students attaining grades of A*-C and a strong 49 per cent of students with results of A*s or As shows the improvements we are making as a school.
“A total of 98 per cent of all students attained passes at A-Level and many are going to their university of choice.”
Mrs. Kingston continued: “The students and staff have worked hard to achieve this strong set of results.
“Students with notable performances were Calli Keane and Chloe Rees who both gained four A*s each, Hannah Taylor with three A*s and one A, Hari Truman who gained A* and three As, Louis Elston with three A*s and one A, Lewis Bridle with three A*s one A and one B.
“Our Head Boy, Jack James, achieved four As and our Head Girl, Beth Williams, attained two A*s, one A and one B.
“Other strong performances came from Gareth Williams with A*, two As and one B, Sarah Slaughter with two A*s and one B, Sky Roberts with A*, two As and one B, Scott Cowper gaining two A*s and two As, Isabell Meyrick attained A*, two As and one B. Rachelle Vickery gained two A*s, one A and one B, Alice Lloyd gained A*, A and two Bs and Cerys Swales attained A*, A, B, C.
“Congratulations to all our students, we are very proud of them all and we wish them all the very best for the next exciting stage!”
