Flooding issues in the locality have been discussed by members of East Williamston Community Council.

Following an investigation by Pembrokeshire County Council highways engineers into flooding concerns, raised by a resident of Hill Lane, Pentlepoir, County Councillor Jacob Williams told Communty Council members that he had been informed that the topography of the road, rather than a defect in the highway or its existing drainage system, was deemed to be the cause.

These surface water problems had been treated seriously, and the evidence spoke for itself Additional drainage is to be installed near the affected area, along the western side of the road.

Works are to be included in the authority's minor works programme for 2025/26, an outcome for which Cllr Williams was grateful.
