The February meeting was chaired by Clr. Ian Wilkinson, when a full agenda was debated. The police were unable to attend due to pressure of work and were hopeful that they would attend the March meeting.

Councillors Wilkinson and Beynon met with Mr. Derek Thomas from the public footpath section of Pembrokeshire County Council. The deviations undertaken by SPARC had not been recorded on the definitive maps and the county council would undertake the changes as required. Mr. Thomas would walk the footpath between Pentlepoir and Templebar Road and discuss the unmarked deviation with the property owners. The officer had asked which paths were to remain open and it was resolved that all the paths with the exception of one spur which did not actually go anywhere should remain open with a view to creating the circular walks that PCC wished to feature.

Various items/repairs forwarded by the community council to the county council were being attended to. However, the state of Templebar Road had been addressed to council on numerous occasions and it was agreed that Clr. Codd would further this with the highways oficer involved.

Proposed sewerage at East Williamston: The promised letter from Faber Maunsell had arrived. The residents had also been circulated with a questionnaire. It was noted in a discussion with the project manager, who had met with councillors in East Williamston, that if there was insufficient interest from the residents East Williamston may not have a further opportunity of progressing this scheme. It was resolved, therefore, to undertake a letter drop to all residents within East Williamston, indicating the importance of recording on these forms any problems being experienced at present and also the necessity to indicate the importance of returning same.

Correspondence received included: Review of electoral arrangements for communities - reply to previous correspondence and also notice of change of election date from May 6 to June 10, in which it was pointed out that any casual vacancies would be dealt with as part of this election procedure. Notice of application to justices for the change of licence at Cross Inn, Broadmoor, to Nigel Penfold, of Trefach Country Pub, Mynachlogddu, on March 4 Notification of change of address for Pembrokeshire Coast National Parks office from Haverfordwest to the former SPDC Offices at Pembroke Dock from April 20, and Joint UDP Housing Document which was currently under scrutiny by members.

Notification had also been received indicating that a Pembrokeshire Conference for Older Persons (over 50 years), entitled 'Working Together to develop a Strategy for Older People in Pembrokeshire',was to be held on March 26, between 10 am - 3.30 pm at Haverfordwest Rugby Club. Persons within the community interested in attending should contact the clerk at an early date.

Congratulations were extended to the East Williamston Community and Hall Association for another edition of their Community Newsletter.

Council agreed to pay a contribution towards the cost of providing this worthwhile publication as had been agreed previously.
