A quiz night, held in East Williamston Community Hall, on Saturday, was well supported, with seven teams taking part, two of them for the first time.  Winners were the 'Gee Gees', who most generously donated their prize money back to the hall funds.   These quizzes are great fun and open to everyone, so all are warmly invited to the next one at 7.30 pm on December 15. The evenings are designed for enjoyment, not to attract Mastermind candidates, and a bar, with draught beer, always adds to the party atmosphere!  Tomorrow (Saturday), there will be a Village Market in the Hall from 10 am until 2 pm. The last one was so successful that all the produce stallholders will again be bringing their wares, along with sellers of jewellery, cards, fancy goods and Christmas items. Refreshments will be on sale, including teas and coffees, soup, mince pies and shortbread. It is hoped that a large number of people will call in to support the event and the Community Hall is now easy to find, due to the new signpost sited on the common in East Williamston village.
