Thousands of pounds worth of drugs have been seized by police.
Sixty-grammes of cocaine - which depending on purity - could have a street value of £3,000-£6,000 were uncovered during raids locally last week.
Officers executed a series of warrants at locations in the area on Thursday. A substantial amount of cash was also uncovered.
One male person was arrested on Friday and was subsequently charged with alleged possession with intent to supply.
Eight others have also been arrested, but have been released pending further inquiries and forensic analysis.
"This is a significant seizure in our fight against drugs," said Inspector Russell Smith, of the town's police station.
"It shows we are not becoming complacent and are continuing our battle against the use of illegal substances."
