Last year, five families were given the incredible opportunity of taking part in a parenting course that turned their lives around. This year, five more families will be given that chance. The unique thing about this series is that the expert never meets the children and never goes to the families' homes. This course isn't for the children - it's for their mums and dads to learn how to be better parents. ITV are looking for parents with naughty children to take part in this course run by a top child expert. The series will chart the progress of each family, following the highs and lows as they put the methods of the course into practise. In just a few weeks, life at home can dramatically improve. A disruptive child can destroy a family - and research has shown that half of all very badly behaved children will go on to develop extreme anti-social behaviour in adolescence. The Government is cracking down on nuisance families and under Tony Blair's new 'respect agenda' is hoping to enforce more parenting orders and classes for parents with troublesome children.
