A 32-year-old man has died following a road traffic collision on the A477 near to the junction for Barnlake Point, Cleddau Bridge on Sunday evening. Wayne Vivian Lloyd from Neyland was driving a dark green Vauxhall Vectra when it was in collision with an embankment. He suffered serious injuries and later died at Withybush Hospital. A front seat passenger in the vehicle suffered serious injuries and is being treated at Withybush Hospital. The road was closed for appoximately five hours following the accident at approximately 5.30 pm while investigations were carried out. Said a police spokesman: "It is known that the vehicle had travelled from the Amroth area prior to the collision." Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact PC Justin Williams at Haverfordwest traffic department on 0845 3302000."
