After many years of severe surface water and drainage problems in Narberth's High Street, work will commence this coming Monday evening to alleviate the headache. "The problem has been caused by private contractors back in the 1990s feeding private drainage pipes into council systems," said County Councillor Wynne Evans.
"I now hope this matter will be finally sorted," he added.
Clr. Evans has informed Chamber of Trade members of the intended work.
