Pembrokeshire County Council says it understands the concerns regarding the drainage and flooding issues at Springfield Park in Narberth, and has carried out investigation works in the area.
"Unfortunately, at the current time, the majority of the matters relating to drainage on the estate are private as the estate is not currently adopted," said a spokesman for the authority.
"We are looking at the possibility of adopting Springfield Park, which could resolve some of the drainage issues, but further investigations and review work would be necessary before this could be achieved. There are also several other local issues that need consideration.
"The resolution of this overall problem will rely heavily on the local residents, land owners, and other stakeholders working together to achieve a satisfactory outcome."
