The Dragon Rifle Club held their annual general meeting at the Narberth Rugby Club last week, presided over by Mr. Colin Spiers. He gave an outline of last season, which had been very successful, adding that several younger people had become members, which was very promising for the future of the club. The following officers were appointed: chairman - Mr. Colin Spiers; vice-chairman - Mrs. Julie Phillips; secretary - Miss Morfydd Howells; treasurer - Mr. Arthur Bates; press correspondent - Mrs. Sarah Wheelhouse; junior captain - Mr. Iestyn Pynn; deputy - Mark Phillips. The winter programme was discussed, with new teams having made requests for a shoot. The first challenge will be from the Narberth Youth Club on Tuesday, October 19, at 7.30 pm. Anyone interested in target shooting is invited to join members at the rugby clubhouse on any Tuesday evening at 7.30 pm, while any club or organisation who would like to challenge the Dragons, should contact the secretary or any club member.
