2nd Pembroke Scouts express their thanks to Dragon LNG for helping towards essential repairs and replacements required for their hall.

The Scout Hall, in the Green, Pembroke, was built in 1968 and has been well used throughout the years. Dragon LNG, based in Waterston, has donated new folding chairs to the group, as well as up to date lighting.

Sharon Donohoe, leader for 2nd Pembroke, said: “The help we have received from Dragon LNG, as well as other local companies, means that we can improve the facilities we have for young children and the local community.”

A Community Bingo night has been organised at the hall for tomorrow (Saturday), starting at 6.30 pm and the group hope to raise money to further improve the hall - everyone is welcome.

The hall is undergoing improvements and volunteers/funding is being sought. Contact details for hiring, or helping with, the hall are [email protected]
