TWO local photographers will be exhibiting their work at Colby Gallery during the first fortnight of June.
Both active and award-winning members of Tenby Camera Club, Ray Hine has lived in the area since 1976, lectures in photography at Pembrokeshire College and has won several coveted prizes, including the BBC Countryfile Wildlife Award.
Harry Gardiner, a relative newcomer to the county, though certainly not to photography, has been awarded a Distinction from the Welsh Photographic Federation and has had slides accepted by the Welsh Salon of Photography. Currently he organises all Tenby Camera Club's entries into Welsh photography competitions.
The 'Small Gallery' will be filled with truly stunning images of Pembrokeshire at surprisingly affordable prices, a great incentive to 'happy snappers' to get their cameras clicking. The exhibition runs from June 2 to 15, followed immediately by a further opportunity to see Harry Gardiner's work in 'Wings and Wales', his solo exhibition in conjunction with 'Tinkers Hill Birds of Prey and Swan Rescue Centre'.
Dorothy Morris's 'West Wales in Wax' continues until tomorrow (Saturday), culminating with a free demonstration of batik techniques by the artist at 12 noon. Booking is advised to be assured of a seat.
