Tenby Youth Club open evening was a great success thanks to the funding received from Pembrokeshire Youth Bank.

Tuesday night saw young people lead activities for newcomers to try, hoping to give them a taste of what youth club is like, and it resulted in many new members registering to join!

Tenby Mayor, Clr. Laurence Blackhall, came to try his hand at some activities and show his support, along with Town Crier Jim Cornwell, County Clr. Mike Evans and Lee Simmons from Tenby Fire Service.

The night had great feedback from members of the public who were impressed with the resources available for young people. They were also impressed with the improvements made to the centre.

The Youth Centre is being redecorated and work is underway to develop the garden for young people to enjoy and grow food.

The success didn’t end there. Joshua Fargin, a member of Tenby Youth Club, was presented with his Agored Cymru Accreditation certificate by Clr. Mike Evans.

Joshua completed his cooking skills following a recipe through the club and achieved an entry three level certificate. Congratulations Josh!
