Sir,
Every day when I drive to work I see the signs outside Brooklands Nursing Home and my heart goes out to the residents and their families.
Putting a loved one into a care home is one of the hardest things I have ever done. My mum had dementia and it's one of the hardest things to deal with.
To these people, Brooklands is their home and they should be able to enjoy their surroundings in peace. Would any of us want a tip next door to us?
Dementia is hard enough to deal with. Don't put any more pressure on these people and their loved ones.
Lisa Roberts,
