In reply to the letter last week about Tenby's dirty bus shelter in Upper Park Road, I would just like to say that the lady who cleans the shelter, 'yes a lady', has a very good name in Tenby and has cleaned for many years. There are many men who wouldn't attempt to clean it, never mind a woman!

The shelter is a disgrace, 'I agree!' With fish and chip papers, cigarette ends, empty beer cans etc. thrown all over the place, and it's been used as a toilet for years and still nothing done! It needs to be looked into by Tenby council.

It needs to be power-cleaned on a regular basis, or even better, for people to be kept out when the bus service has closed down for the night, which means the use of shutter doors or other means of closing it to the public.

You can't blame visitors for this disgusting behaviour, you must blame local people - 'but certainly don't blame the cleaner!'.
