The 3 Amigos Motorcycle Group and Dollies have been given a boost, thanks to a local car sales firm.

The Neyland branch of Ron Skinner & Sons have very generously made a donation of £400 towards this year’s 3 Amigos and Dollies annual Christmas toy run which takes place on Saturday, December 9.

“They have also very kindly offered to be a drop off point for any donations as well so if you wish to donate and are passing please feel free to pop in and have a chat with them and leave your kind donation with them for us,” said a spokesperson for the 3 Amigos.

“In addition to the Gravells van we are kindly given use of every year they have also offered to support us with use of a van for toy collections.

“We would like to thank them for their generosity in enabling us to continue to deliver donations and excellent support for ill and disabled children and their families at what can be a very testing time of year as not every family experiences a happy Christmas.

The 3 Amigos Motorcycle Group and Dollies are still appealing for donations and toys for their charity toy run which is supporting children’s services within Hywel Dda University Health Board and the Wish Fund, a campaign which helps the Hywel Dda paediatric palliative care service to create lasting memories for the children, young people and families they support. The run also supports Action for Children.

The toy run is a much-loved event which sees hundreds of motorcyclists collecting and delivering toys.

The 3 Amigos will be travelling around various locations across Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire collecting for their appeal on the lead up to the run, with the next collections as follows: November 18, Home Bargains, Milford Haven; November 25, Castle Square, Haverfordwest

“It's such a good feeling seeing how much joy the toy run brings to all the people who come out to support us. Helping Santa visit and handing out presents to the children in hospital at Christmas will create such a worthwhile feeling,” continued the spokesperson for the 3 Amigos Motorcycle Group.

“Last year, we raised an outstanding £10,000. We always aim to raise as much as we are able to.”
