Sir, It was good to learn from the letter from Messrs. T. and J. Fahey that they enjoy their annual stay in Saundersfoot. Yes, I know a bit about it. Nice place, and we all hope they continue to enjoy themselves there, appreciating the consideration of the splendid council, and without the need for them to bring their dogs to Amroth. Many people come here to walk their dogs along the sea-front and to leave their tootsy-woopsies on the pavement. Yes, to be sure, canine admission to the beach in season is partially restricted but, because I happen to know a bit about Amroth as well as Saundersfoot, perhaps I could be helpful and explain that, if this is not sufficient for Messrs. Fahey, who really have to come here any time Saundersfoot is not good enough for them, they are welcome to take their dog down to the beach at the west end of the village and walk all the way, still in Amroth parish, as far as the boundary with St. Issell's parish at Ford's Lake at Wisemans Bridge. Then, provided they learn enough about tides, they will be free to head ever westwards, into the setting sun, until they reach Sea Breeze. What a lovely name. Should Messrs. Fahey need further variety, they are welcome to take their dog down to the beach at the east end of the village and keep going beyond New Inn Lake until they reach Marros parish in Carmarthenshire. Tell them not to try, after many a mile, to go further than Ragwen, in case they are cut off by the tide and finish up with their names once again in the paper. Roscoe Howells,
Glan-Y-Môr, Amroth.
