Last week we reported that a greyhound type dog was found straying in the Amroth area.
We are now pleased to report that the dog has happily been reunited with its owner.
Furthermore, contrary to information received last week, the dog was not taken by police to the dog pound, but was back home within a couple of hours of going missing.
"We are grateful for all the calls we received about this, especially from people in the Amroth area," said Sandra Morris, of Greyhound Rescue Wales, who were responsible for homing the dog.
She also confirmed that the dog had not been impounded by the police, but thanks to the Greyhound Rescue Wales hotline number (07071 881068) on its collar, was reunited with its owner's family within hours of the initial sighting.
