Pembrokeshire Police are urging people to do their bit for their community in 2008 and attend their neighbourhood policing forum. The forums are held every month by each of the 12 neighbourhood policing teams in Pembrokeshire. The meeting is an opportunity for residents to meet their local team and raise any issues of concern. Sergeant Fintan Godkin said: "The forums are all about the community working in partnership with the neighbourhood policing teams and other agencies to address the issues which affect residents the most. "Residents who attend really can make a difference to their community as they decide the forum's priorities for the month - this could be anything from speeding, to anti-social behaviour or dog fouling. "For 2008, we have changed some of the forum dates to make it easier for residents to attend and for all the agencies to work together and address issues." The forum dates for local teams are listed below - anyone unable to attend can still raise an issue which can be discussed at the meeting by contacting their team on 0845 330 2000 or at the relevant e-mail address: Pembroke Dock Town - first Wednesday of the month, 7 pm, at St. John's Hall, Bush Street ([email protected]">[email protected]) Pembroke - third Wednesday of the month, 7 pm, at Pembroke Town Hall, (pembrokeNPT@dyfed- powys.pnn.police.uk).
