We stay in Saundersfoot, with our dog, for six weeks every year. We would like to thank the council for the enlightened way that they deal with the possible problem of dogs mixing with families during the summer months.
The main beach is rightly reserved for families only, whilst to the east, from Sea Breeze, dogs are permitted and also to the west from the Harbour beach.
This is appreciated by dog owners who stay in Saundersfoot and is in contrast to Amroth, where dogs are banned from all the beach, apart from a very small area at each end. Possibly this is a contributiong factor in the difference in the prosperity of the two villages.
