Sir,

I am writing this letter firstly as a warning to others, and secondly in the hope that the person responsible will be made aware of the distress that their actions have caused.

I visited Tenby's new cemetery this week to check the flowers on my husband, David's grave. The trough of flowers had been stolen. As my trough was extremely heavy I do not believe that children were responsible and there was no evidence of vandalism. It would have required a car to remove it.

Mrs. Warlow was also visiting the cemetery at the time and she informed me that a trough of plants had been taken from her family's grave.

If the perpetrator is so desperate to have flowering plants he/she may contact me and I will provide them with some, in the hope that the stealing from graves, and causing distress to those who lovingly tend these graves, will not happen again!
