Sir,
I write in agreement with the letter from Mrs. L. Evans regarding the road to Tenby Cemetery.
I would like to bring to the attention of Tenby council the state of the Old Cemetery and its approach from the main gate.
There is a disused railway goods van with brambles growing halfway up the side and an old yellow road sweepers cart also buried by grass and brambles. To visit the Old Cemetery, you require wellington boots.
Prior to Christmas, I was visiting the Watkins family graves and a former local spoke to me about the disgusting state of the grounds; he had travelled from Barry in bad weather. He has complained to the church, but I believe this is the problem of Tenby Town Council.
The new cemetery is well kept - please spare a thought and time for the rest of us.
Mrs. Pauline Day
(formerly Watkins),
