Sir,

I was recently delighted to stay with a friend in beautiful Tenby. Both myself and my nine-year-old son had a wonderful time, but it was marred by the evening's within the town.

Gangs of youths seem to be allowed to stomp around, wailing, screaming and swearing into the early hours! It got worse! We witnessed bottle and glass throwing, men urinating in the Square and women carrying bottles of vodka and spitting on the streets. Most were so drunk they were unaware of their actions!

The Square resembled Hogarth's gin alley. Surely the police of Tenby have a responsibility to the public to prevent all this mayhem and to prevent young children witnessing such disgusting behaviour. Tenby should be for all, families, pensioners and every type of visitors. Not these drunken delinquents whose whole life revolves around booze!

Mr. D. Bowen,

Tenby.
