Sir,
I was travelling to Pembroke Dock on Monday morning and was very disappointed to see the council cutting the grass verges from Slade Cross through to Pembroke Dock.
Why couldn't they wait until the end of the month knowing that there could be some animals and birds with young still on the floor.
The grass verges are not obstructing vision on the road so surely they could have waited a bit longer. I saw eight men, one tractor machine. Surely they could be doing something else instead of harming nature.
I hope they will leave all the other verges alone.
Macky Brace,
New Hedges
