A disabled motorist's campaign against the county council and Withybush Hospital's plans to charge Blue Badge holders for parking in their car parks came to Tenby on Friday.
Ann Goodman was in the town collecting signatures for her petition which has now topped 1,500 names.
She has also left copies of the petition in 48 retail businesses, throughout the county.
"Hopefully I have managed to place one within reasonable distance to most people," she told the Observer.
"I have contacted MP Jackie Lawrence and voiced my concerns to Frank O'Sullivan, chief executive of the Pembrokeshire and Derwen NHS Trust," she explained.
"I am also awaiting replies to the e-mails I have sent to Eluned Morgan and Glenys Kinnock, our Euro MPs, asking why is it, if we are in Europe, that the Blue Badge is respected in Europe, and enables the holder to free parking, yet in the UK we don't have the same concession.
"I have stated that I would like it raised at a European Parliament," added Ann, who lives in Goodwick.
Locally, the petition can be signed at the Tenby branch of Cancer Research UK, Market Hall Cafe, Londis in Trafalgar Road, Saundersfoot Post Office, Saundersfoot newsagent, Begelly Filling Station and Kilgetty Filling Station.
