Children's author Steve Cole, a man known for writing stories about dinosaurs, came face to face with a few familiar prehistoric characters last week as he visited The Dinosaur Park, near Tenby, to give a talk to local schoolchildren.

Bedfordshire born Steve, writer of the bestselling Astrosaurs series, gave pupils from Sageston, Cosheston and Llandovery schools, an insight into his latest fictional story entitled Z Rex.
