Saundersfoot Sports AFC recently held their Annual Senior Presentation Dinner at the Wiseman's Bridge Inn, which was well supported and enjoyed by all.
Guest speaker was Pembrokeshire referee Mr. Richard Stevens, who was accompanied by his wife Pauline.
The toast master for the evening was Barry (Feb) Phillips, who once again exceeded himself with his humorous introduction to the proceedings.
Chairman of the club, John Watkins, thanked players and committee members for their support and commitment over the year. Both senior teams had held their positions in their respective division one.
Being manager of the first team, the chairman knew the commitment involved in taking on a team and congratulated the following coaches:
Under 8 managers - Steve and Neville Ruff; Under 11 assistant manager - Colin Andrews, and Paul Rogers; Under 13 manager - Peter Edwards, and assistants Ian Hardy and Yan Morris; Under 14 manager - Christopher Jenkins, and Andrew Spencer.
Christopher Jenkins and Brindley Skeels were also thanked for running the youth team in the Wiltshire Cup, with the boys getting to the semi-final.
Mike Cornick was thanked for his efficient management of the senior reserve team during the season and Russell Evans for the senior first team.
Mr. Cliff Preece, Mr. Brindley Skeels, Mr. Craig O'Neal and Saundersfoot Sports and Social Club were thanked for their invaluable support to the AFC during the season.

Highest goal scorer: 1st team - Steve Davies; 2nd team - Damien Keight.
Players player: 1st team - Steve Davies; 2nd team - Mike Cornick.
Player of the year: 1st team - Daniel Caine; 2nd team - Gary Cunningham.
Young player of the year: 1st team - Matthew Skeels; 2nd team - Ben Gray.
Most committed player - Dave Douglas-law; Clubman of the year - Russel Evans; Sportsman of the year - Gareth Thomas.
