Tenby's inshore lifeboat was launched shortly after 8 pm on Wednesday after a member of the public reported seeing a dinghy blowing out to sea half-a- mile south of the resort's Castle Beach. The ILB crew quickly located the dinghy and found nobody aboard. After the coastguard had carried out a search along all the beaches in the area and had no reports of missing persons, the ILB was stood down.
